Global IT Sourcing Manager
At the head office of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, there is an open position as Global IT Sourcing Manager
High Level Role Description:
The Global Sourcing Manager is responsible for the entire sourcing and contracts process, including implementation of contracts and follow up vendors and vendor relationship deliverables on a continuous basis. WWL has a portfolio of 45 global it-systems with a high degree of sourced services.
The role is responsible for:
- Securing that WWL have competitive prices from suppliers and sourcing providers
- Ensures that WWL have systems for performance follow up and KPIs that drive and continuously improve performance
- Ensure a well defined governance model
- Ensure continuous dialogue on performance with major suppliers
- Professional Responsibilities and Authority
- Lead the Sourcing function in Global IT Operations
- Responsible for Sourcing and Vendor management for the operations area
- Responsible for contract negotiations for all global contracts within Global IT Operations
- Follow up external partners in a professional way; especially WWL´s main outsourcing partners
- Performance Management for major vendors
- Focus on continuous improvement in suppliers deliverables
- Ensure that Business SLA´s are fulfilled and reported to business
- Responsible for handling all claim situations within Global Infrastructure and Operations
The perfect candidate for this role
- Has extensive experience in IT-sourcing
- Has extensive experience in high-level negotiating
- Holds a Masters degree or equivalent, preferably within IT/ Management
- Is independent, but also an excellent team player
- Is hands on and ALWAYS prepared
